Good Luck Cat

Do you know Maneki-Neko? It is the beckoning figure of a cat displayed in shops bring in customers. In Aichi prefecture, there are Maneki-Neko Museum. A lot of Maneki-Neko is being displayed in thins museum; we can see a lot of Maneki-Neko here. If it raise left hand, it means beckon to people. If it raise right hand, it means beckon to money. Maneki-Neko is famous in Japan. When I was young, I often see a Maneki-Neko in some shop. However, I can’t see them very often now. I think Maneki-Neko is auspicious, cute and unique. I think you can enjoy watching them. Moreover, in Maneki-Neko Museum, you can make your original Maneki-Neko! That’s nice. If you go to Japan, try to go there. Thank you!

Three Cups of Tea

I enjoyed reading the book “Three Cups of Tea”. This story was interesting, but didn’t funny story. I know some countries have problems that is about children can’t go to school. It is big problem and it is difficult to solve. I can only donate a little money. Greg who build a few school is very kind and brave. If I were Greg, I’ll give up when I was kidnaped because it is too scary. In Japan, all children can take an education because elementary school and junior high school is compulsory education. Children can take an education free; if you want to go to high school, you have to pay money for school. Japan can do this because they have enough school and teacher. In this story, there are no school, no teacher, not good environment and so on. It is difficult to build a school and manage them. This story was very touching. A lot of people tried to help Greg, it was so great and Greg did well his work. It was hard to read this English book, but it was good for me.  

Cats and Dogs

Two popular pets – cats and dogs. You know, both cats and dogs are so cute, but they are different. First, cats don’t need to take them out for a walk because they go out freely. I think cats are the most willfully animal. They go out anywhere and anytime. However, dogs need to take them out for a walk because dogs can’t go for walk themselves. It’s OK let a dog run loose but there are some rules. So, a lot of people don’t let a dog run loose. Next, cats are a little bit ferocity, I think. My friend has two cats and she often has scratch. Another my friend has dog, but I never see she has injury from her dog. Last, cats can live more than 10 years, but it is difficult for dogs to live more than 10 years. I think both cats and dogs have good points and bad points. I think dogs are better pet for me because they are calm than cats. But I can’t live with cats or dogs because of allergy.

Men and Women

In Japan, nursing was considered only women’s job a few years ago. In a hospital, there were a lot of women working as a nurse and men were working as a doctor. A nursery school or a kinder garden, there were a lot of women working. Now, it is changed; we can see men are working as a nurse and as a teacher of a nursery school or a kinder garden. I think the situation is changing and it is good. We don’t have to consider our gender when we searched a job. Recently, some women involved politics; not a lot. I think this is wonderful things. We can choose our job regardless of sex. Some people who have an old-fashioned idea are disagree to work women as a doctor, politician and so on. My grandmother often said to me to work at a hospital as a nurse, it is women’s job. I don’t think so; men can also work at a hospital as a nurse. Now, there are a lot of people who want to choose their job regardless of sex. The situation is changing today, it is nice!

A Cellphone

I can’t live without a cellphone because I use it every day. When I was junior high school student, I got a cellphone. I didn’t use often then, but I use a cellphone every day since I was high school student. A cellphone is so useful to make contact with people and research something on web. We can call people if we are outside. If I don’t have it, it is hard to make contact with people. My mother said to me that she didn’t have a cellphone when she was a student and she was used to use a public telephone or a telephone that was in house. She said it was inconvenient and now, we can see a public phone a few. I think that we must have a cellphone. Why I use a cellphone every day? I want to make a contact with my family and my friends because I’m in Canada. I sometimes feel lonely, but I make a contact with them, I feel relieved. It is very important thing for me. I can’t live without my cellphone.

Sky Diving!

I would like to try sky diving if I can. I think it is wonderful to fly　because I can see a great landscape from the sky. Extreme sports are great, we can experience that we have ever had. I think this is advantage　of extreme sports. I would like to try an extreme sport, but they have also disadvantages. There are a lot of extreme sports in the world, and almost them are dangerous, For example, bungee jump is dangerous; some people was died an accident of bungee jump. I know some accident. Sometimes a rope was break and people fell the ground. It is really scared, and in fact this accident was happen. When I heard the news about bungee jump, I don’t want to try it. But these accident doesn’t happen very often. If you want to try extreme sports,  you have to be careful to choose the place that we try to them. We have to choose reliable place; there are not happened an accident never.

Which is safe

My hometown is Matusaka, Mie prefecture. I think Calgary is safer than my hometown. My home town is also the countryside like Calgary, so looks is safe. However, some crime was happened there. In my hometown, a wire-the-money scam is general I think. A wire-the-money scam is using a telephone, a postcard or a letter and cheat people out of money. About 3years ago, our family received the postcard that tried to cheat my family out of money. I forgot what the postcard said, but it was billing fraud. We ignore the post card and threw away it. .Sometimes, the police station in my hometown warning us to be careful a wire-the-money scam. We can stay safe, if we are careful about crime and we have to know about crime like this.
